PARADE OF LIGHTS FLOAT
VOLUNTEER HOURS
We have our assigned space for the Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 7th.
This is the plan.
I have the float at my house at 2017 Wallace St., just off Berney Drive. I am setting it up so we can decorate the float as a Club starting at 10:00 am Saturday morning. We will decorate the float until it’s done. We have until around 3:30 pm before we need to move the float to its parade slot. I hope to have the decorating done at my house within 2-3 hours.
Staging Area:
We are number 20 in the parade. Our staging point will be on the east side of 5th Street, north of Alder, in the middle of the block, between the jail and the Sheriff’s office
Once done we can take a break and then everyone can show up at the Parade starting point at 4:00. We need folks to show up since we need to put lights on the pick-up truck by 4:45 when judging begins. The parade starts at 6:00. Since we are number 20, we need to be ready at 6:00.
What to wear in the parade. The theme is Polar Bear Christmas, so you just need to dress like you are at the North Pole. Note: you need to bundle up since rain is forecast.
